calculate a currency exchange rate
You have to find how much a dollar is worth in yen (japanese money)
read the article below it should help!
have fun on your trip!!
Since the currency exchange rate can vary day to day, to get the most up to the day rates you can use http://www.oanda.com/. Since I deal with a lot of people that travel, this shows the rate for the very day they travel.
Since the rate changes day to day, its best to go to an international bank to exchange money, since they are most likely to give you the best rate.
Please note that most stores that you would visit would give their own exchange rate, which is usually higher than the bank rate.
